Grand Prize Silver Dollar City Attractions Family 4-Pack, including 4 tickets to Silver Dollar City, White Water, Showboat Branson Belle and 2 nights lodging at Welk Resorts. 

Or weekly prize of 2 tickets to Silver Dollar City.  

All expenses not expressly stated in the prize description above is the sole responsibility of the Prize winner. Travel restrictions, blackout dates, conditions and limitations may apply. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen prizes, or any contents therein. Prize winner is responsible for all applicable taxes incurred by winning and accepting the prize. Winner is solely responsible for any applicable fees and all insurance, federal, state and local taxes, if any, and incidentals and any other unspecified expenses associated with acceptance or use of the prize. Prizes are provided as is and without warranty of any kind, including, but not limited to, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purchase. All prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable. No cash redemption or prize substitution allowed by the prize winner. Prize is subject to blackout dates and availability.

Winner will be notified by email and has 48 hours to respond or sadly, we will have to draw again. Winner is drawn randomly. 

You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest, and must show a valid driver's license or picture ID. This contest is void where prohibited by law. You must complete all contact information to be eligible to win. You may submit one entry per person. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.

Employees of Kansas City Star, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible. 

By entering, winner consents to allow the use of his/her name and/or photograph for advertising similar promotions without further compensation. Winner releases sponsors from all liability regarding use and enjoyment of the prize, tax liabilities and insurance. If any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Prize is non-substitutable and except at Sponsors sole discretion, non-transferable. 

Entrants agree that The McClatchy Company, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, director, officers, employees, agents and contest partners including but not limited to Silver Dollar City; are not liable for, and will be held harmless against, and all claims for injury, loss or damage or any kind resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this contest or from acceptance or use of any prize.

Kansas City Star reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. 

Kansas City Star reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the Kansas City Star's office.

Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. 

Entrants further grant to Kansas City Star the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

Kansas City Star reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

UPICKEM and Kansas City Star are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
