1. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these promotion rules.

2. No purchase is necessary. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age or older to enter, and be a licensed motor vehicle driver with proof of adequate liability insurance. Must be a resident of Kansas or Missouri. This promotion is void where prohibited by law.

3. Employees and immediate family members of employees of McClatchy Company, KansasCity.com, Wilkes Broadcasting Group, Northtowne Automotive Group, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their advertising and production agencies (collectively, the "sponsors") or other media outlets are not eligible to participate in this promotion.

4. The Road Trip Trivia grand prize is a 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The car to be awarded as the grand prize will be on display though out the contest period at Northtowne Automotive Group and at various Q104 radio remote locations while entries are being accepted. The Eclipse will be awarded with the options and in the color as displayed, no exceptions or changes will be made to the vehicle. There are also opportunities to win weekly prizes in the form of Products and event tickets. All weekly prizes will be determined by availability and are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash payment. Winning a weekly prize does not disqualify the player from the grand prize finalist drawing.

5. There are three ways to enter this contest. 1) Beginning June 14, 2010 participants can log on to KansasCity.Com, click on the Road Trip Trivia contest logo and answer a multiple choice trivia question on the contest site. There will be a new question every day June 14, 2010 through noon on July 07, 2010 (here after referred to as the “contest period”). Each participant is eligible to enter once per day, every day of the contest period. For every question a participant answers correctly, they will receive a single entry in the contest drawing to be selected as a finalist. There will be a total of 10 finalists chosen from entries on KansasCity.com. 2) Participants can also enter through on-air-call-in during the Q104 morning show, Monday thru Friday between 6am and 10:00 am, during the contest period as specified by the station during the daily broadcast. Q104 will also award a single finalist entry at a specified station related event, the location to be announced on air during the morning show. A total of five finalists chosen by Q104. 3) There will also be a single “wild card” finalist, chosen at random on the day the grand prize is awarded. This finalist will be chosen, at Northtowne Mitsubishi by random drawing entries collected before the prize is awarded on July 10, 2010. Only one entry per person will be accepted per day using any of the entry methods. Any person deemed a finalist by a Q104 entry is no longer eligible to enter the contest by other methods. No player can receive more than a single finalist entry. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected or mutilated entries, including due to network failure.

6. There will be intermediate (weekly) prizes awarded four times during the contest period. Winners will be chosen by random from the qualified entries collected during the seven days prior to the drawing. Weekly prizes will be awarded on Monday 06/21/10, Monday 06/28/10, Monday 07/05/10 and Thursday 07/08/10. Winners will be contacted be by email and/or phone and given a deadline for response. If a weekly winner does not respond by the designated deadline, another player will be randomly chosen and contacted as winner of the prize.

7. Per the methods outlined above a total of 16 Grand Prize finalists will be chosen to have a chance to win the Grand Prize. All finalists from KansasCity.com will be notified on Thursday, July 08, 2010 by phone and/or email. The grand prize will be awarded on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Northtowne Mitsubishi, 101 N.E. Vision Rd. Kansas City, MO. Each finalist will have the opportunity to randomly select a car key from a container filled with no more than 16 keys. Only one of the 16 keys will start the 2011 Eclipse. A random drawing will determine the order in which the finalists will choose their key and try to start the car. The finalist whose key starts the engine wins the 2011 Eclipse. All the eligible Grand Prize finalists must check-in with the designated Kansas City Star employee by 11:30 a.m. on July 10. Finalists who have not checked-in by 12:30 p.m. with the designated Kansas City Star employee will forfeit their chance to select a key and win the car. Each finalist must be present to select their key and try to win. Key selection can not be transferred. No other finalists will be allowed to try their keys after the grand prize has been awarded. Keys are the property of Northtowne Mitsubishi and must be returned on July 10, 2010 after the Eclipse has been awarded. In case of a need to repeat the process, all contestants must be present during the event, or they will forfeit their chance to participate.

8. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winner(s) will be solely responsible for any and all local, state and federal taxes, as well as license and registration fees incurred by his/her/their participation in the promotion, including but not limited to transportation costs, gratuities and other items of an incidental nature. If the participant is not able to cover any of the above fees, the participant forfeits the prize and the dealer retains the prize. The Kansas City Star will report any individual winning over $600 (in cash or fair market value of goods or services) in a one year period to the Internal Revenue Service. Winner(s) will receive a 1099 form from the Kansas City Star. If The Kansas City Star reports any winnings to the Internal Revenue Service. Prize(s) may not be exchanged for cash or any other consideration.

9. All winners agree to the use of his/her/their name(s) and likeness(es) in publicity without any additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering this promotion, the winner(s) acknowledge that The Kansas City Star, and all other sponsors and venues have the right to publicize and broadcast his/her/their name, voice and likeness, the fact that he/she/they won, and all matters incidental thereto.

10. By entering this promotion, each entrant forever discharges and releases sponsors and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind arising from or in connection with the promotion, including, without limitation, responsibility for property damage, loss of life or personal injury resulting from or in connection with participating in the promotion or from or in connection with use or receipt of the prize(s), however caused.

11. Driver's license or other appropriate picture identification is required to claim the prize(s). Winner(s) must take possession of the grand prize by Saturday, July 10th, 2010, or such prize will be forfeited.

12. In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by The Kansas City Star are final and binding.

13. Contest rules are subject to modification by The Kansas City Star.
